The 8 is a weekly standup show where the same set of 5 comedians perform 10 minutes of standup comedy every Sunday for an entire year. This project is designed to give a space for comedians to grow their unique voice, through time, consistency, and discipline.
Every set will be recorded culminating in 8 hours of recorded stand up for each comedian. At the end of the project the 40 hours of comedy will be cut into a compilation album showcasing the evolution of these comedic voices. email:

Grant Lindahl is a cartoonist and talk show host of Art School Acid Dropout. This unique comedy talk show invites a surprise guest visual artist to spend 15min showcasing their visual work. Then we invite 5 of New York’s top comedians to tell a story about anything their heART desires. Each comedian will be sketched by Grant and his surprise guest artist.
