A Good Place to Start - Central Park
New York City is a great place for a romantic getaway. Here a few ideas to get you started. Try a carriage ride through Central Park. You can catch one on the south side of the park for a cost of $34 for the first 20 minutes and $54 for a 50 minute ride. At the Loeb Boathouse during the summer you can rent rowboats or take a ride in an authentic Venetian gondola.
Walk along 5th Avenue for some of the best shopping in the world, names like Bloomingdales, Tiffany, Saks, are found here. You can try Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center, or just sit by the rinkside cafe and watch the skaters. Want to really impress?
Move your way down Midtown and to the observation deck of the Empire State Building. Outdoor fabulous views of the city. Head furthur downtown to Lower Manhattan and Southstreet Seaport for views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Take a Cruise
