of Mormon is a religious satire
musical with a book, lyrics, and
music by Trey Parker, Robert
Lopez, and Matt Stone. Best
known for creating the animated
comedy South Park, Parker and
Stone co-created the music with
Lopez, who co-wrote and
co-composed Avenue Q. The show
lampoons organized religion and
traditional musical theatre,
reflecting the creators'
lifelong fascination with
Mormonism and musicals.

Eugene O'Neill Theatre:
This Jujamcyn theater originally opened in
1925 as the Forrest Theater;
became the Coronet in 1945, and
then in 1959 was renamed the
Eugene O'Neill Theater in honor
of the American playwright.
Seating capacity is 1,108. The
interior of the theater was
designated a New York City
landmark in December 1987.
