The Cadillac Winter Garden is owned by the Shubert Organization opened in 1911. The greatest entertainer in the history of broadway, Al Jolson, made his broadway debut on this stage. This began an association with the Winter Garden that would endure for over 30 years. Seating capacity is 1,526. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District, home to over 40 theaters within a 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd Street to 42nd Street, between 6th and 8th Avenues).
