Description: The Winter Garden is owned by the Shubert Organization. The greatest entertainer in the history of broadway, Al Jolson, made his broadway debut on this stage. This began an association with the Winter Garden that would endure for over 30 years. Theater seats 1513. As one of the Great White Way Broadway Theaters, this theater is located in the famous Broadway Theater District 10 block strip of Manhattan (from 53rd to 42nd streets,between 6th and 8th Aves) home to over 40 theaters.
