![]() The Garment District in Manhattan is home to major fashion labels, showrooms, designers and the Fashion Walk of Fame. It's a small area (about one square mile) between Sixth and Ninth Avenues, from 34th to 40th Street. Here you can shop for fabric, lace, leather, buttons and beads - all things sewing. Check out Mood fabric store as seen on Project Runway. See the Needle Threading Button sculpture and the Ralph Kramden statue. You'll also appreciate the architecture within the Garment District. Check out the Garment District Alliance website for a free walking tour.
